The power switch is located between the body and the head. Rotate it 90 degrees in any direction; a "click" sound indicates the power is on, while the opposite direction turns it off. Before use, insert the grounding wire at the tail. After turning on the power, the green light will illuminate. When the red light comes on (approximately 3-5 seconds), you can test the lightning counter by extending the conductive rod from the head (which can be pulled out before powering on based on the counter's installation height). Repeated tests can be performed without turning off the power (the conductive rod should be removed from the test object during each charging).

Before using the 300~1000V lightning counter tester, charge it first. To ensure effective charging and extend battery life, use the dedicated charger. It takes 3-4 hours to fully charge an empty battery. A red light on the charger indicates charging; a green light indicates full charge. Before use, connect the attached ground wire plug at the tail and clamp the ground wire to the earth.
After each click, the discharge rod tip should be removed from the counter. If repeated testing is needed, you do not need to release the button; after about 1-2 seconds, when the indicator light flashes again, you can click to test again.
Continuous testing may cause the tester to heat up; please allow appropriate intervals.
If the indicator light does not flash after pressing the button for more than 3 seconds, the battery needs to be charged.
Do not disassemble the tester arbitrarily. If the battery capacity significantly drops or charging efficiency is too low, it needs to be replaced. Please purchase the dedicated battery pack from our company.
Note: When the indicator light is on (flickering), do not touch the electrode parts with any part of your body, as there is a risk of electric shock.
