For Sale and Rental Lightning Counter Tester Usage:
1. Charge before use. To ensure charging effectiveness and extend battery life, use the dedicated charger. It takes 3-4 hours to fully charge an empty battery. A red light on the charger indicates charging; a green light indicates charging is complete. Before use, connect the attached ground wire plug at the tail end, and clamp the ground wire to the earth.
2. According to the installation height of the counter, properly extend the telescopic discharge rod.
3. Press the red button to turn on high voltage for about 1 second. When the indicator light is on (flickering), gently tap the connection end between the counter and the arrester for testing.
4. After each tap, the discharge rod tip should be moved away from the counter. If repeated testing is needed, you do not need to release the button. After about 1-2 seconds, when the indicator light flickers again, you can tap again for testing.
5. Continuous testing may cause the tester to heat up. Please allow appropriate intervals.
6. If the indicator light does not flicker after pressing the button for more than 3 seconds, the battery needs charging.
7. Do not disassemble the tester arbitrarily. If the battery capacity drops significantly or charging efficiency is too low, replacement is needed. Please purchase the dedicated battery pack from our company.
Note: When the indicator light is on (flickering), no part of the body should touch the electrode parts, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
Usage Guide:
The power switch is located between the body and the head. Rotate it 90 degrees in any direction. A "click" sound indicates the power is on; rotating it back turns it off. Before use, insert the ground wire at the tail. After turning on the power, the green light will be on. When the red light is on (about 3-5 seconds), you can test the lightning counter through the head's telescopic conductive rod (which can be extended before powering on according to the counter's installation height). You can test repeatedly without turning off the power (each time charging, the conductive rod should be moved away from the test object).
