Main Functions
“Technical Measures for Preventing Capacitor Device Accidents” stipulates: For high-voltage shunt capacitor sections, the capacitance of individual capacitors in capacitor banks should be measured regularly, and it is recommended to use a measurement method without disconnecting the connecting wires to avoid faults such as oil leakage from the bushing due to stress caused by disassembling and assembling connecting wires.
It is specially developed for the problems existing when measuring the capacitance value of individual capacitors in shunt capacitor banks and SCV devices at substation sites. It has the following functions:
* Measure the capacitance of individual or entire bank of shunt and collective capacitors without disconnecting wires.
* Measure the inductance of reactors and line traps without disconnecting wires.
* Measure the entrance capacitance of transformers and generator entrance capacitance without disconnecting wires.
* Has the function of measuring parallel (discharge) resistance value.
* Can compensate for the problem of low fault detection rate caused by low output voltage of capacitance meters.
* Simultaneously display voltage and current waveforms and phase, and calculate the power loss of the capacitor under test.
