Inductive Load DC Resistance Tester

After the instrument is powered on or the reset button is pressed, it enters the initial state (1). At this time, the cursor pointer points to "Resistance". Press the "OK" button directly to enter state (2), which displays the changing charging current and measurement time. After charging is completed, it automatically enters state (3), displaying the resistance value, measurement current, and measurement time. At this point, each press of the "OK" button stores a measurement result (models with a printer will simultaneously print the measurement result). Press the "Reset" button to exit resistance measurement and enter state (4), which displays the discharge current. After discharge is completed, it automatically returns to the initial state (1), completing one resistance measurement.

2. Number Setting

Inputting the equipment number helps in searching memory data. In the initial state (1), point the cursor to "Settings" and press the "OK" button to enter state (5), which displays the current equipment number. Press the "OK" button again to enter state (6), prompting to input a new equipment number. At this time, pressing the "Select" button allows the current input digit to cycle from '0' to '9', and then from 'A' to 'Z'. When the desired number or letter is found, press the "OK" button to input that digit. Then use the same method to input the next digit. After inputting six digits, return to state (5), which displays the newly input equipment number. Press the "Reset" button to return to the initial state (1).

3. Memory Operation

In the initial state (1), move the cursor to "Memory" and press the "OK" button to enter state (7), which displays the total number of records in the current memory. At this time, pressing the "Select" button can enter state (8), displaying memory record contents starting from the latest record. NNNNNN represents the equipment number of that record, and MM represents the MM-th resistance value of that equipment. During measurement, each time the "OK" button is pressed to store a measurement result, the MM value increases by 1. Each time a new equipment number is input, the MM value restarts from 1. Pressing both the "Select" and "OK" buttons simultaneously will clear all data in the memory. Press the "Reset" button to exit memory operation and return to state (1). The memory can store up to 120 measurement results. After exceeding 120, the oldest records will be overwritten. The memory content can be retained for a long time without loss even when power is off.

Instrument Precautions

1. When measuring a no-load tap-changing transformer, be sure to reset before switching the tap. After discharge is completed, wait until the discharge prompt sound ends and the prompt message disappears before switching the tap changer.

3. After the test is completed, press the "Reset" button. Be sure to wait until the discharge indicator light goes out and the prompt message disappears before turning off the power and disconnecting the wires.

4. During the test, please avoid power outages or detachment of the test clamps.

5. Connect the ground wire before turning on the power, and disconnect the ground wire last after the test is completed.

Classification Test Methods

A: DC Power Supply Test: Close the main power switch, the corresponding indicator light will turn on. Press the "Start/Stop" button to begin the test. After the test, press the "Reset" button. The instrument will display "Discharging". Wait until the instrument returns to the startup interface, then turn off the main power switch, the corresponding indicator light will turn off. Then switch the test clamps for another test.

B. AC Power Supply Test: Connect the AC220V power supply, the "Charging" indicator light will turn on. Close the main power switch, and the corresponding indicator light will turn on.
