I. Product Overview
The KDVLF-30 ultra-low frequency high voltage generator is mainly used for non-destructive insulation withstand voltage tests on plastic power cables such as PE (polyethylene) / XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) in the power sector, It has functions such as power supply overcurrent, high voltage overcurrent, oil tank overheating protection, and the inability to start high voltage if the output voltage regulator is not returned to zero. It is a replacement for traditional power frequency withstand voltage test equipment.
Product Features
1. For ultra-low frequencies with rated voltage less than or equal to 30kV, a single-stage structure (one booster) is adopted; for ultra-low frequencies greater than 30kV, a series structure (two boosters in series) is used, greatly reducing overall weight and enhancing load capacity. Moreover, the two boosters can be used separately as ultra-low frequency generators for lower voltage levels.
2. Current, voltage, and waveform data are all sampled directly from the high-voltage side, ensuring accurate data.
3. Overvoltage protection function: When the output exceeds the set voltage limit, the instrument will shut down for protection, with an action time of less than 20ms.
4. Overcurrent protection function: Designed with dual protection for high and low voltage. The high-voltage side can perform shutdown protection based on the set value; when the current on the low-voltage side exceeds the rated current, shutdown protection will be triggered, with action times both less than 20ms.
5. The high-voltage output protection resistor is designed inside the booster, so no external protection resistor is needed.
6. Due to the adoption of a high and low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit, there is no capacitive rise effect in the output.
