Note:

Before use, the pointer must be adjusted to the middle position, i.e., zero adjustment.

 Usage methods and precautions:

• Before measurement, screw the test rod wires into the two binding posts respectively, and insert both ends of the connecting fork into the two red binding posts, adjust the meter pointer to the zero scale line. 



• Place the test rods connected to the binding posts on the two ends of the object under test (e.g., rails, water pipes, cables, outer sheaths, coal, etc.), set the selector switch to the appropriate range, then the meter reading will be indicated; when the pointer turns right, it is positive, and when it turns left, it is negative. 



• When measuring stray voltage, remove the connecting fork from the two red posts; the meter reading will then be the stray voltage value, with mA corresponding to mV and A corresponding to V. 



• When the magnitude of stray current is unknown, first set to the maximum range, then gradually decrease until the appropriate measurement range; the instrument should be placed horizontally. 



• When the measured current exceeds 5A, the instrument should only be used for short-term measurement; when the measured current exceeds 10A, the instrument should only be used for instantaneous measurement. 



• When the instrument is not in use, it should be set to the "Off" position.
