Precautions!!
1.YDL-2044 Dual-Angle Cable Safety Piercing Device strictly prohibits firing the gun without clamping a cable after loading bullets, otherwise the bolt will jam.
2、When clamping the cable, the left and right screws should be tightened evenly and equidistantly, and the gun hole should be aligned with the center of the V-shaped base plate hole, otherwise the nail will deviate and hit the base plate.
3、Feel out the positions of each phase of the cable by hand, then select the gun muzzle to aim directly above (highest point) of a certain phase of the cable and clamp it;
4、Be sure to connect the ground wire to the launcher (as shown in Figure 3);
5、Generally, piercing a cable should be done at three different positions, with each point spaced at a 30° angle; when using a dual-gun piercing device, the fixed positions of the two guns should be offset by 40°-60° (as shown in Figure 4);
6、After each piercing is completed, confirm that the piercing device is not electrified before removing the device;
7、You can verify the piercing condition by measuring at the cable end whether the piercing caused a short circuit between phases or between phase and ground;
Usage Precautions
1.Operate according to the above instructions.
2. If during the piercing process, the bolt moves but the nail bullet does not explode, please check whether ⑿ is tightened. If it is loose, tighten it and try again. If it still does not explode after tightening, replace the nail bullet. If it still does not explode, please contact the manufacturer.
3、If during the piercing process, the spring inside the gun chamber does not move, but the control box operation is completed, it may be due to long-term storage or poor maintenance. You can first loosen the bolt force adjustment nut ⑿ by a few turns and perform a blank test until the spring moves once, then tighten it and continue the test. If it still does not move, please contact the manufacturer.
4、Safety of this device:
<1> Electronic control ensures that even if the device power is turned on and the "Confirm" key is accidentally pressed, entering the selected mode still requires a second confirmation or re-selection of the mode; the device will not automatically operate due to accidentally entering the timing mode. A second confirmation is required to enter the selected mode.
<2> Electronic control ensures that even if the device power is turned on and a certain key on the remote control is accidentally pressed, the device will not operate. Only when both keys A and B on the remote control are pressed simultaneously will the device operate.
<3> Electronic control ensures that only after the prompt to leave the site, pressing both keys C and D on the remote control simultaneously will the device operate.
<4> In timing mode, the remote control is ineffective, and accidental pressing of the remote control will not cause misoperation.
5、If the display shows "Failure, please check the device and try again", please contact the manufacturer promptly, and do not disassemble the control box privately.
6、If the screen shows low battery, replace the battery promptly, and remove the battery after each use.
7、The consumables, nail bullets and nails, must be the same specifications and models as those configured at the factory.
8、When installing the piercing device, be sure to align the U-shaped groove of the gun head with the fixing plate to prevent the impact force generated during piercing from damaging the U-shaped groove.
9、During the use of the piercing device, if live-fire piercing has been performed, be sure to clean the gun chamber with a brush to prevent residual debris from jamming the firing pin and causing the instrument to malfunction.
10、During the use of the instrument, it can only pierce cables, not wooden sticks or other items. Because the instrument generates a large impact force during piercing, piercing wooden sticks or other items can easily damage the instrument.
