The complete cable fault tester system consists of three main parts: flash testing, tracing, and locating.
The cable fault tester (flash tester) can be used to detect various types of cable faults including low resistance, high resistance, short circuit, open circuit, leakage faults, and flashover faults. It can accurately detect the fault point location of underground cables, cable length, and cable burial path. It features accurate testing, high intelligence, wide adaptability, stable performance, and lightweight portability. The instrument uses a Chinese character system with high-definition display and a user-friendly interface.
Cable tracing and fault locating are composed of a path instrument, locating instrument, T-shaped probe, A-frame, and earphone. This instrument is a dedicated meter for cable fault location testing, suitable for testing various cables with metal conductors (wire pairs, sheaths, shielding layers). Its main functions include locating insulation faults to ground, detecting cable paths, and measuring cable burial depth.
