Intelligent Lightning Protection Component Tester
An instrument suitable for testing DC parameters of overvoltage protection components such as zinc oxide arresters (zinc oxide valve plates and varistors). It features memory, calculation, hold, self-check, and leakage alarm functions. It has high-voltage short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, and high-voltage presetting functions. The high-voltage self-discharge time is less than 5 seconds.
Functional Features:
1.Suitable for measuring DC parameters of overvoltage protection components such as zinc oxide arresters (varistors), metal-ceramic two-electrode and three-electrode discharge tubes, and vacuum lightning arresters. It can also be used as a voltage-stabilizing or constant-current power supply for other applications.
2、It has high-voltage short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, high-voltage presetting, and range adjustment functions. The high-voltage self-discharge time is less than 0.5 seconds.
3、FC-2G Lightning Protection Component Tester / Manufacturer Supply has a self-check function.
4、Measurement data is displayed on a three-and-a-half-digit LCD with high accuracy and good reliability.
5、During measurement, the range can be preset, and an audible alarm is given for over-range tests, which is suitable for component grouping and inspection.
6、Selecting continuous measurement allows uninterrupted testing of batch samples.
7、The panel is simple and easy to operate.
8、Lightweight and portable.
Measurement Method:
(a) Connect the varistor under test to the measurement leads, press the "High Voltage On/Off" key, the high-voltage indicator lights up, and the display immediately shows the starting action voltage U1mA test value, with the unit "V" displayed after the value. Press the "Test" key, and after about 2 seconds, it automatically switches to the leakage current I0.75U1mA test value, with the unit "μA" displayed after the value. The green indicator light turns on simultaneously with the leakage current display and disappears after about 2 seconds.
(b) If the U1mA value of the varistor under test is lower than the preset voltage value, the displayed voltage preset value will drop to near its U1mA value after connection. You can press the "Test" key to continue the next step; if it is higher than the upper limit of the range, during the U1mA phase of the test, the preset upper limit value will be displayed, and the test current will be <1mA, making the displayed test data invalid. The instrument will emit a buzzer alarm during the I0.75U1mA test (red light on) phase. To change the test sample or measure again, simply press the "Test" key again.
(c) For continuous measurement, set the "Single/Continuous" switch to the low position (continuous). (If selecting continuous measurement mode before turning on the high voltage, you must press the "Test" key once.)
