Specific Operating Method of the Instrument Panel
◇This instrument is equipped with three buttons: "Select", "Confirm", and "Reset".
1. Resistance Measurement
After powering on or pressing the reset button, the instrument enters the initial state (1). At this time, the cursor pointer points to "Resistance". Press the "Confirm" button directly to enter state (2), which displays the changing charging current and measurement time. After charging is completed, it automatically enters state (3), displaying the resistance value, measurement current, and measurement time. At this point, each press of the "Confirm" button stores a measurement result (models with a printer will simultaneously print the measurement result). Press the "Reset" button to exit resistance measurement and enter state (4), which displays the discharge current. After discharge ends, it automatically returns to the initial state (1), completing one resistance measurement.
2. Number Setting
Inputting the device number helps in searching memory data. In the initial state (1), point the cursor to "Setting" and press the "Confirm" button to enter state (5), which displays the current device number. Press the "Confirm" button again to enter state (6), prompting for input of a new device number. At this time, pressing the "Select" button makes the current input position cycle from '0' to '9', then from 'A' to 'Z'. After finding the desired number or letter, press the "Confirm" button to input that digit, then use the same method to input the next digit. After entering all six digits, it returns to state (5), displaying the newly entered device number. Press the "Reset" button to return to the initial state (1).
3. Memory Operation
In the initial state (1), move the cursor to "Memory" and press the "Confirm" button to enter state (7), which displays the total number of records in the current memory. At this time, pressing the "Select" button can enter state (8), displaying the memory record contents sequentially starting from the latest record. NNNNNN represents the device number of that record, and MM represents the MM-th resistance value of that device. During measurement, each time the "Confirm" button is pressed to store a measurement result, the MM value increases by 1. Each time a new device number is entered, the MM value restarts accumulating from 1. Pressing both the "Select" and "Confirm" buttons simultaneously will clear all data in the memory. Press the "Reset" button to exit memory operation and return to state (1). The memory can store up to 120 measurement results; after exceeding 120, the oldest records will be overwritten. The memory contents can be retained for a long time without loss even when power is off.
