DC Resistance Test of Transformer Winding



The DC resistance test of transformer winding is an essential test item after transformer handover, major repair, and tap changer adjustment. By measuring the DC resistance of transformer windings, it is possible to check the quality of lead wire welding or connections, whether there are inter-turn short circuits or open circuits in the winding, and whether the tap changer contacts are in good condition.
