I. Overview
The test transformer is an upgraded product improved by our company based on the original TDM type test transformer. Compared with traditional test transformers, this series of products has the following characteristics:
1. In terms of insulation structure, based on the principle of "distance effect" of transformer oil, multi-layer insulation is adopted to divide the internal insulation of the transformer into multiple oil channels, thereby improving the insulation level and reducing the volume.
2. The oil leakage problem of TDM series transformers has been solved. Since TDM series transformers do not have an oil conservator, when the temperature is too high, the oil expands and leaks from the oil nozzle. However, this series of products sets the oil filling hole at the top of the bushing, and the oil in the bushing is connected with the oil in the transformer body. Therefore, in addition to the functions of installing silicon stacks, short-circuit rods, and series excitation rods, the bushing also serves as an oil conservator for the transformer.
3. This series of products uses metal fixed leads and voltage equalization, thereby eliminating the discharge phenomenon.
4. The impregnated tank structure is compact, with a novel appearance, small size, and light weight.
5. The iron core is a single-frame core type, made of DQ type 0.30mm cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets stacked together, fastened with new special materials, replacing the traditional through-core bolts. The coil is a concentric cylindrical, multi-layer tower structure.

Operation Steps
1. Connect the leads according to the wiring diagram, and reliably ground the transformer and control box;
2. Before the test, check whether the wiring of each part is in good contact, and check whether the voltage regulator of the control box is adjusted to the "zero" position;
3. Connect the power supply, the green indicator light is on, press the start button, the red indicator light is on, indicating that the transformer is energized, waiting for voltage boosting;
4. Rotate the voltage regulator handle clockwise at a uniform speed to boost the voltage, and closely pay attention to the instrument indication and the condition of the test object;
5. After the test is completed, quickly reduce the voltage to zero, press the stop button, then cut off the power supply, and disconnect the test leads.
