The high current generator uses an energy-saving high-permeability current booster, and the instrument is indicated by a true RMS 0.5 class digital meter. It is equipped with a digital electric stopwatch to meet time measurement. It has the characteristics of large output power, strong overload capacity, clear reading, and flexible movement. It is suitable for power system technicians to test current transformers, protection devices, and secondary circuit current tests.

Usage Method


When conducting high current tests, correctly connect the working circuit according to the circuit diagram of this product. According to the size of the output current, select the position of the large and small range switch. First return the voltage regulator to zero, then press the start test button (green). At this time, hold the voltage regulator handle and slowly rotate the handwheel clockwise while watching the ammeter until the required current value is reached. After the test reaches the set value, immediately rotate the voltage regulator handwheel counterclockwise back to zero, press the stop button, and cut off the power supply.

This current booster is a dry-type high current generator produced by our company, equipped with an autotransformer voltage regulator to output voltage (i.e., the input voltage of the generator) to obtain different required high currents.
