Dielectric Loss Test

With the development of China's power industry and the rapid increase in the number of distribution transformers in use, measuring transformer capacity and its actual losses has become an urgent need for power supply enterprises. Based on years of field experience and advanced digital technology, our company has meticulously developed a new type of transformer capacity tester suitable for field use - the MHY-13559 Transformer Capacity and No-Load/Load Loss Tester. This instrument is a specialized device for testing and confirming power transformers. It can automatically determine the capacity and type of the transformer based on test data, and judge whether the transformer is high-energy-consuming or energy-saving according to the error between the transformer's characteristic parameters and national standards. It is suitable for detecting electricity theft and provides a fast and reliable detection method for electricity inspection departments. The MHY-13559 Transformer Capacity and No-Load/Load Loss Tester can test voltage levels of 6, 10, and 35 kV, with a capacity testing range from 30 kVA to 40000 kVA for various types and specifications of oil-immersed transformers, dry-type transformers, and special transformers, including capacity, no-load loss, and load loss. The instrument uses low voltage and low current testing methods, enhancing the safety of testing work. At the same time, the built-in power supply can provide a large output power, ensuring the accuracy of test data and providing a reliable signal for testing large-capacity transformers. This instrument is small in size, light in weight, simple in wiring, easy to operate, accurate in measurement, stable in performance, and easy to learn, making it an indispensable device for electricity inspection departments. 

·Functional Features 

1. No-load testing requires no external power supply or voltage regulator; it can be completed using the built-in power supply.

2. For transformers without nameplates, no parameters need to be manually entered; the test results are automatically obtained.

3. Large screen, high brightness, full-temperature liquid crystal display; all measurement data is displayed on one screen with Chinese information prompts. The LCD brightness and contrast are adjustable, and it can be clearly displayed even in strong light.

4. The tester has a built-in micro printer with Chinese character printing output, allowing direct printing of test results on site.

5. Built-in protection circuits prevent instrument damage and personal accidents.

6. Long-life touch keys make operation simple; most operations can use default settings, with one-key operation throughout.

7. The built-in high-energy power supply can complete all test items; during field testing, the instrument does not need external power supplies, voltage regulators, or current boosters.

8. Unique power-saving mode ensures completion of field testing for multiple transformers of various types.

9. Transformer capacity can be tested at non-rated tap positions.

10. Test data is stable with good repeatability.

11. Simple wiring; only two wiring clamps are needed to complete the test. The test does not distinguish phases; any two phases can be selected.

12. Test data can be uploaded to a PC, allowing the PC to print formal test reports and form a database for management.

1. Capacity test: Range 30kVA to 500kVA, accuracy class 0.5,

Range 630kVA to 16000kVA, accuracy class 2

2. Load test: Short-circuit loss (copper loss): range 0 to 40000W, accuracy class 0.5

Impedance voltage (Uk) and its percentage (Uk%), accuracy class 0.5

3. No-load test: No-load loss (iron loss): range 0 to 40000W, accuracy class 0.5

No-load current, accuracy class 0.5

4. Other electrical measurements: Voltage range 0 to 750V, accuracy class 0.2; current range 0 to 50A, accuracy class 0.2; frequency range 45 to 65Hz, accuracy class 0.2. All the above measurements can be completed using the built-in power supply.

5. Automatically completes temperature compensation of test data, converting data to values at rated temperature.

6. Built-in power supply capacity: 15AH, can continuously test more than 100 transformers; output power 600W, can directly test large-capacity transformers such as 16000KVA.

7. The instrument provides test signals: AC voltage 40V, maximum current 15A, pure sine wave with distortion less than 1%.

8. Automatically determines and prints out the transformer type (high energy consumption or energy-saving).

9. Has storage function, can store information of 100 transformers.

10. Equipped with special short-circuit clamps for convenient wiring during testing. Optional 1000A short-circuit plates are available for special requirements.

11. The insulation resistance between the voltage and current input terminals and the machine case is ≥500MΩ, and the working power input terminal can withstand an AC withstand voltage test of 2KV for 1 minute against the enclosure.

12. The instrument is small in size (400x320x180), light in weight (less than 6 kg), and easy to carry.
