Very Low Frequency Insulation Withstand Voltage Test Set is actually an alternative method to power frequency withstand voltage testing. As we know, when conducting power frequency withstand voltage tests on large generators, cables, and other test objects, due to their insulation layers having relatively large capacitance, a test transformer or resonant transformer with a large capacity is required. It can be widely used in AC withstand voltage testing of cables, large high-voltage rotating motors, and power capacitors.

3、Select appropriate product specifications based on the test object.

When in use, the capacitance of the test object must not exceed the rated capacity of the instrument. If the capacitance is too small, it will affect the output waveform. If it is less than 0.05µF, the instrument will not output normally. A 0.1 µF capacitor can be connected in parallel to assist output.Below are the capacitance values of some equipment for user reference.

★    Current and voltage data are directly sampled from the high-voltage side, so the data is true and accurate.

★    Overvoltage protection: When the output exceeds the set voltage limit, the instrument will shut down for protection, with an action time of less than 20ms.

★    Overcurrent protection: Designed with dual protection for high and low voltage. The high-voltage side can be precisely shut down according to the set value;

the low-voltage side will shut down for protection when the current exceeds the rated current, with an action time of less than 20ms.

★ The high-voltage output protection resistor is designed inside the booster, so no external protection resistor is needed.

★    Due to the use of a high-low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit, there is no capacitance rise effect in the output.
