TEV Partial Discharge Tester Functional Features

• Built-in imported ultrasonic sensor; electrical faults generate ultrasonic waves at the fault point. In ultrasonic mode, listen to the partial discharge ultrasonic signals through headphones, and scan an area by checking for leaks. Various characteristic vibration sounds, pops, and hums can be associated with different faults.


• Built-in high-precision TEV sensor couples the electromagnetic signals generated by partial discharge to identify potential internal discharge fault risks.


• In Ultra Mode, the main interface displays the partial discharge amplitude (dBuv), using yellow, green, and red to indicate the severity of partial discharge; the headphone volume (Vol) can also be adjusted.


• In TEV Mode, the main interface displays the partial discharge amplitude; the number of pulses per power frequency cycle, total pulse count, and discharge intensity level.


• Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, ensuring continuous operation for more than 6 hours.


• The interface uses a true color LCD with real-time battery level indication; physical membrane keys are simple to use and come with an external high-fidelity noise-canceling headphone.

  EV Partial Discharge Tester Safety Precautions

  
  
  

  The handheld TEV Partial Discharge Tester is used for detecting and evaluating the insulation status of 3-35kV medium and high voltage switchgear and ring main units. The following precautions should be observed when using this device:
  
  (1) Use indoors at a temperature of -20°C to 50°C, with relative humidity not exceeding 80%.
  
  (2) Keep away from flammable and explosive dangerous goods.
  
  (3) To prevent interference or electric leakage accidents, turn off the power switch when charging.
  
  (4) If liquid or corrosive substances come into contact with the instrument, turn it off immediately and have it handled by our after-sales service personnel.
  
  (5) Do not disassemble the main unit or any accessories. If necessary, please have our after-sales service personnel disassemble them.
