This current booster is used as a power source for supplying the primary current to a current transformer during calibration, or as other 50Hz single-phase current power supply equipment.
This current booster consists of an input winding (220V, ±), an output winding (below 100A), and a through-core winding.
The output current indicated on the nameplate of the current booster refers to the rated current allowed to pass through the through-core winding. When the through-core winding has multiple turns, the allowable rated current decreases inversely.
The ratio of the output capacity indicated on the nameplate of the current booster to the product of the output current and the voltage per turn is the maximum number of turns allowed through the core at this output current.
Equipped with casters for easy handling.
