Safety Measures
1. You must read this manual carefully before using this instrument.
2. The operator of the instrument should have general electrical knowledge.
3. Avoid using the instrument in places exposed to rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, high temperature, direct sunlight, etc.
4. The instrument should be protected from severe vibration.
5. After testing, be sure to wait until the discharge alarm sound stops before turning off the power and removing the test leads.
6. When measuring no-load tap-changing transformers, be sure to wait until the discharge indication alarm sound stops before switching gears.
7. During testing, moving the test clips and power supply lines is prohibited.
Precautions
Safety Precautions
For your safety and the safety of the equipment, please read the following carefully:
1. After measuring inductive loads, do not directly remove the test leads to avoid endangering the safety of test personnel and equipment due to inductive discharge. The output end of this instrument is equipped with a discharge circuit. When the output is turned off, the inductor will discharge energy through the instrument. Be sure to remove the test leads only after the discharge indication is complete.
2. For no-load tap-changing transformers, switching the tap changer during measurement is not allowed.
3. If the power suddenly fails during measurement, the instrument will automatically start discharging. Do not immediately dismantle the wiring; wait at least 30 seconds before dismantling.
4. During measurement, do not short-circuit or ground other untested windings, as this will slow down the magnetization process of the transformer and extend the data stabilization time.
5. Before turning on the power, check the power supply voltage: AC 220V±10% 50Hz.
6. Before testing, confirm that the device under test is powered off and disconnected from other live equipment.
7. During testing, the casing must be reliably grounded.
8. During testing, do not place irrelevant items on the instrument panel or around it.
9. When replacing fuses and accessories, use the same model as this instrument.
