Connect the signal output cable socket and measurement input socket of the control box to the cable socket of the voltage doubling device using dedicated cables. Before use, check their integrity; the connecting cables should not have short circuits or open circuits; the voltage doubling cylinder should have no condensation; use copper wire of at least 2.5mm² to connect the control box ground to the grounding terminal of the voltage doubling device and ensure reliable grounding.

2. Installation Instructions for Water Resistor

1. Before each test, unscrew the end of the water resistor with the vent hole, add water until it submerges more than 2/3 of the conductive rod, and keep the end with the vent hole facing upward.

2. After the test, pour out the water and refill it before the next test.

3. Calibration of Voltage Setting Value

Plug in the power cord, turn on the power switch of the control box. The voltage display, current display, and 0.75 times voltage display should all show zero. Turn the voltage setting knob clockwise to the maximum, and turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob and voltage fine adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero; the zero position indicator light should be on. Lightly press the "Start" button, and the "Power" indicator light (red) should turn on. If the red indicator light does not turn on when pressing the "Start" button, it indicates that the voltage coarse and fine adjustments are not at zero; turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob and fine adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero, and the red indicator light will turn on.

Turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob clockwise. When the voltage approaches the desired value, then turn the voltage fine adjustment knob to reach the desired voltage. At this time, the voltage display unit is kV, and the current display unit is mA.

Turn the voltage setting knob counterclockwise to turn off the high voltage; at this point, the red indicator light goes off, and the "Overvoltage" indicator light turns on.

This indicates that the instrument is set according to the required output voltage, i.e., when the output reaches the desired voltage value, it automatically cuts off the high voltage for overvoltage protection. If the setting knob is not adjusted, each time the voltage can only rise to the set voltage value. If the voltage needs to rise to the rated value, the overvoltage setting knob must be turned clockwise to the maximum.
