Working Principle



The digital megohmmeter is composed of medium and large scale integrated circuits. This meter has high output power, high short-circuit current value, and multiple output voltage levels (four voltage levels). The working principle is that the DC high voltage generated by the internal battery as the power source through DC/DC conversion is output from the E terminal, passes through the tested object to the L terminal, thereby generating a current from E to L. After I/V conversion and division operation, the measured insulation resistance value is directly displayed by the LCD.



Megohmmeter Features

2. The housing of this meter is made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Inside, an equipotential protection ring and a fourth-order active low-pass filter are provided, which can effectively shield against external power frequency and strong electromagnetic fields. For capacitive test samples, due to the output short-circuit current greater than 1.6mA, it is easy to quickly raise the test voltage to the rated value of the output voltage. For low resistance measurements, due to the proportional method design, voltage drop does not affect the test accuracy.



3. No manual labor is required; it is powered by batteries, and the range can be automatically switched. The clear panel operation and LCD display make measurement very convenient and fast.



4. The output short-circuit current of this meter can be directly measured without needing to estimate with load.
