Using the four-terminal wiring method for loop resistance testing, this actually measures the dynamic resistance during the switching operation of the circuit breaker, and can be used to test SF6 high-voltage circuit breakers with graphite contacts. The working principle of the dynamic resistance test channel is to apply a 10A constant current source to the two terminals of the graphite contacts of the circuit breaker, and through the other two test signal lines (voltage signals) connected to both ends of the circuit breaker, test the dynamic voltage change waveform within 200mV during the operation of the graphite contacts, thereby determining the position of the metal contacts of the circuit breaker, and then inferring the true and accurate position of the graphite contacts based on the length of the graphite contacts.
Safety Requirements:
1. Only qualified technicians should perform maintenance to prevent fire or personal injury.
2. Use appropriate power cords. Only use power cords that are dedicated to this product and comply with its specifications.
3. Connect and disconnect correctly. Do not arbitrarily connect or disconnect test leads when they are connected to live terminals.
4. Ground the product. In addition to grounding through the power cord's grounding conductor, the grounding terminal on the product's housing must also be grounded. To prevent electric shock, the grounding conductor must be connected to the ground. Ensure the product is properly grounded before connecting to its input or output terminals.
5. Pay attention to all terminal ratings. To prevent fire or electric shock hazards, pay attention to all ratings and markings of the product. Before connecting to the product, read the product manual to further understand the rating information.
6. Do not operate without the instrument cover. Do not operate the product if the cover or panel has been removed.
7. Use appropriate fuses. Only use fuses that comply with the specified type and rating for this product.
8. Avoid contact with exposed circuits and live metal. Do not touch exposed contacts and parts when the product is energized.
9. Do not operate if there is a suspected fault. If the product is suspected to be damaged, have it inspected by maintenance personnel and do not continue operation.
10. After testing, wait for discharge to complete before removing test leads.
Product Introduction:
This is a new type of specialized instrument for detecting the mechanical dynamic characteristics of high-voltage circuit breakers. The High-Voltage Switch Dynamic Characteristic Tester adopts high-tech technology, integrating a computer, printer, measurement interface circuit, and operating power supply into one unit, making it a new specialized instrument for high-voltage circuit breaker testing. It is equipped with two types of displacement sensors suitable for different distances and precision measurements, and the instrument's automatic identification system recognizes the selected sensor, completing distance and speed measurement for low-oil, multi-oil, sulfur hexafluoride, and vacuum high-voltage circuit breakers. In the design of the instrument, only one closing (opening) operation is needed to sample and record all data of six break contacts, and the measurement results can be displayed with a single key operation, and the measurement data can be printed, including current waveform diagrams of six break contacts and the time characteristic curve of the moving contact of one break.
This is a universal computer-based intelligent testing instrument developed for various high-voltage switches. The High-Voltage Switch Characteristic Tester applies photoelectric pulse technology, single-chip computer technology, and reliable anti-electromagnetic radiation technology, equipped with precise and reliable speed/distance sensors, and can be used for debugging and measuring the mechanical parameters of various voltage levels of vacuum, SF6, low-oil, multi-oil, and other high-voltage switches. The instrument is easy to wire and simple to operate; only one closing (opening) operation is needed to obtain all closing (opening) data. It can print all required data, break contact current waveforms, and moving contact motion curves, which is convenient for analysis and storage.
Product Applications:
The High-Voltage Switch Dynamic Characteristic Tester is suitable for mechanical characteristic testing of imported and various manufacturers' low-oil, multi-oil, vacuum, and SF6 high-voltage switches, as well as for time testing of electromagnetic action devices (such as contactors, relays, etc.), with a built-in operating power supply.
