a) Three-phase asynchronism: refers to the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the three-phase opening (closing) times of the switch.

b) Same-phase asynchronism: refers to the time difference between the opening (closing) times of the same phase breaks for switches with more than six breaks.

c) Bounce time: refers to the cumulative time of all contacts and separations (i.e., bouncing) between the moving and static contacts of the switch during the closing process (i.e., the time from the first contact to complete contact).

d) Opening time: for a circuit breaker in the closed position, the time interval from the moment the opening trip is energized to the moment when all pole arc contacts separate.

e) Closing time: for a circuit breaker in the open position, the time interval from the moment the closing circuit is energized to the moment when all pole contacts touch.

f) Reclosing time: during the reclosing cycle, the time interval from the starting moment of the opening time to the moment when all pole contacts touch.

g) Just-opening (closing) speed: refers to the average speed of the moving contact relative to the static contact within a specified time or distance at the moment of contact. For example, with 10ms, for opening it is the average speed within 10ms after opening, and for closing it is the average speed within 10ms before closing.

h) Contact gap: refers to the distance from the start of the open state to the moment when the moving contact just touches the static contact.

i) Maximum opening (closing) speed: refers to the maximum value of the instantaneous speed during opening (closing). Generally, this value should appear at the moment when the switch just opens or closes, which can be determined from the speed and travel curve.

j) Average opening (closing) speed: refers to the ratio of the travel of the moving contact to the time during the entire operation process.

This instrument is a precision and valuable device. Please handle it with care and store it properly to prevent heavy drops or impacts. When used outdoors, operate it in the shade as much as possible to avoid direct sunlight on the LCD screen for extended periods.


When not in use, the instrument should be stored indoors in a well-ventilated, non-corrosive gas environment with a temperature of -10 to 40°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%. During humid seasons, if it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to power it on once a month for about 1 hour.
