TDSB-30KVA/50KVPower Frequency Withstand Voltage Test Device Precautions

1. Connect the working circuit according to the test you are conducting. The casing of the test transformer and the casing of the operating system must be reliably grounded. The X terminal (high voltage tail) of the high voltage winding of the test transformer and the F terminal of the measuring winding must be reliably grounded.

2. When conducting cascade tests, the X terminal of the low voltage winding, the F terminal of the measuring winding, and the X terminal (high voltage tail) of the high voltage winding of the second and third stage test transformers are all connected to the casing of the respective stage test transformer. The casings of the second and third stage test transformers must be grounded through insulating supports.

3. Before connecting the power supply, the voltage regulator of the operating system must be adjusted to the zero position before connecting the power supply, closing the switch, and starting to increase the voltage.

4. Rotate the voltage regulator handwheel evenly from zero to increase the voltage. The voltage increase methods include: fast voltage increase method, i.e., 20s stepwise voltage increase method; slow voltage increase method, i.e., 60s stepwise voltage increase method; and extremely slow voltage increase method for selection. The voltage starts from zero and rises to 75% of the required rated test voltage according to a certain voltage increase mode and speed, then rises to the required rated voltage at a speed of 2% of the rated test voltage per second, while closely monitoring the indications of the measuring instruments and the condition of the tested object. If any abnormality is found in the indications of the measuring instruments or the condition of the tested object during the voltage increase process or during the test, the voltage should be immediately reduced, the power supply cut off, and the situation investigated.

5. After the test is completed, the voltage regulator should be returned to the zero position evenly within a few seconds, and then the power supply should be cut off.

6. This product must not be used beyond its rated parameters. Except when necessary for testing, full voltage energization or de-energization is absolutely not allowed.

7. When using this product for high voltage tests, in addition to being familiar with this manual, you must strictly implement relevant national standards and operating procedures. Reference can be made to GB311-83 "Insulation Coordination of High Voltage Transmission and Transformation Equipment, High Voltage Test Techniques"; "Regulations for Preventive Tests of Electrical Equipment", etc.
